GhostLoader Privacy Policy

🔒 GhostLoader does NOT sell or share your personal data with third parties. Account creation is entirely optional — the app works fully without signing in.
1. Overview
GhostLoader ("the App", "we", "our") is a file download manager with a built-in web browser for Android devices, including phones, tablets, and Android TV. This Privacy Policy explains our practices regarding user data.
Summary: GhostLoader works fully without an account. If you choose to sign in, your email address and download code history are stored securely using Firebase (Google) infrastructure. All data is encrypted in transit via HTTPS/TLS. No data is sold or shared with third parties beyond Firebase infrastructure. You can delete your account data at any time.
2. Data We Collect
2a. Without an Account (Default)
If you do not create an account, GhostLoader collects no personal data. All data is stored locally on your device.

2b. With an Account (Optional)
If you choose to create an account, the following data is collected and stored securely in Firebase (Google) infrastructure:

Account creation is entirely optional. The app provides full functionality without signing in. Signing in simply enables cloud storage of your download codes for convenience.
3. Data Sharing
🚫 We do NOT share any personal data with any third party beyond what is necessary for Firebase infrastructure.
Specifically:
- No data is sold to any third party, ever.
- No data is shared with advertising networks, analytics providers, data brokers, or any other entity.
- No data is shared with Google, Facebook, or any other platform beyond Firebase infrastructure used for authentication and data storage.
- No third-party SDKs are integrated for tracking, analytics, or advertising.
- No advertising of any kind is displayed in the App.
- Firebase (Google) is used solely as a service provider for authentication and cloud data storage. Firebase processes data in accordance with Google’s Privacy Policy.
4. Data Stored Locally on Your Device
The App stores the following data exclusively on your device in the app's private storage:

All locally stored data:
- Never leaves your device (unless you opt in to cloud sync by creating an account)
- Is not accessible to us or any third party
- Is completely deleted when you uninstall the App
- Can be cleared manually through Android Settings → Apps → GhostLoader → Clear Data
5. Network Activity
The App connects to the internet only when you explicitly initiate an action:
- Downloading files: When you enter a URL and start a download
- Browsing the web: When you navigate to a website in the built-in browser
- Resolving URLs: When shortened URLs are resolved to their destination
- Firebase Authentication: When you sign in to or create an account (optional)
- Firebase Firestore: When your download codes are saved to or retrieved from the cloud (only if signed in)
No background network activity occurs. The App does not:
- Phone home to any server
- Send analytics or telemetry
- Check for updates automatically
- Sync data with any cloud service without your explicit action
- Make any network request without your explicit action
6. Data Security
We take the security of your data seriously:
- Encryption in transit: All data transmitted between the App and Firebase servers is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS.
- Firebase security: Account data and download code history stored in Firebase are protected by Google’s enterprise-grade security infrastructure.
- Local storage: Downloaded files and app data stored on your device are kept in the app’s private storage directory, accessible only to the App.
- No server-side storage by us: We do not operate our own servers. All cloud data is handled by Firebase (Google) infrastructure.
7. Permissions
GhostLoader requests only the minimum permissions necessary for its core functionality:

GhostLoader does not request access to your camera, microphone, contacts, location, phone, SMS, storage (beyond app-private), or any other sensitive permission.
8. Third-Party Services
GhostLoader uses the following third-party service:
🔥 Firebase (Google): Used for optional account authentication (Firebase Authentication) and cloud storage of download codes (Firebase Cloud Firestore). Firebase processes data in accordance with
Google’s Privacy Policy and
Firebase Terms of Service.
GhostLoader does not integrate:
- Google Analytics, Firebase Analytics, or any analytics SDK
- Facebook SDK, Adjust, AppsFlyer, or any attribution SDK
- AdMob, Unity Ads, or any advertising SDK
- Crashlytics, Sentry, or any crash reporting SDK
- Social media SDKs (beyond Firebase Authentication)
9. Children’s Privacy
GhostLoader is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children. Account creation is optional and not required to use the App.
10. Your Rights
You have full control over your data:
- Without an account: There is no personal data to access, correct, delete, or export. You can clear all locally stored app data at any time via Android Settings.
- With an account: You can delete your saved download codes at any time from within the app. You can sign out to disconnect your account. To fully delete your account data, sign out, delete your saved codes, or contact us at alfred@customcloud.tv.
- Uninstalling the App removes all locally stored data from your device.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
